Model # 1620 - Needle & Head Exchange

1. Unscrew & remove handle from
the airbrush body. |
|
|
 |
2. Turning counter-clockwise,
carefully loosen the needle set screw. |
|
|
 |
3. Carefully pull back on the end of
the needle, removing the needle from the airbrush body. |
|
|
 |
4. Turning counter-clockwise, remove
the cap / head from the airbrush body. |
|
|
 |
5. Using the wrench provided in your
set, carefully loosen (turning counter-clockwise) and remove the
"Nozzle" from the airbrush. |

 |
6. Inspect all parts and clean if necessary. Be sure to use the matching parts when
reassembling your airbrush. |

|
 |
7. When reassembling your airbrush,
first relpace the "Nozzle" and lightly snug tight with the
provided wrench. |
|
|
 |
8. VERY carefully insert the needle
into the airbrush body. When inserting, turn the needle slowly while
carefully pushing forward until needle is seated. |
|
|
 |
9. Relpace the "Air Cap
Body", carefully turning clockwise until "Hand Snug". |
|
|
 |
10. Once the needle is set, lightly
snug the "Needle Set Screw" to lock the needle in place. |
Now that your airbrush has been re-assembled, you
should first test the airbrush by spraying air only, then spray cleaner through.
You may use cleaner to assist you to properly adjust your spray pattern and
desired material "flow". This is achieved by turning the Needle
Adjustment Sleeve back and forth. You may have to remove & replace the
needle cover (handle) several times until it is adjusted & set to your
preferred operation.
