Auto
Air Transparent Colors are transparent
with a semi-gloss finish. Use over lighter shades, mix with other colors,
or layer over other colors. Transparent Colors are a versatile part of the
Auto Air Colors product line and can be used for a variety of effects such
as:
Mix with other Auto Air Colors series for custom blends.
Mixing Transparent Colors with 4100 Series Aluminum Bases creates custom
metallic colors.
For
awesome candied metal-flake finishes, mix Transparent Colors directly with
4500 Series Hot Rod Sparkle Series.
Transparent Colors also create a candied appearance when applied over 4100
and 4300 Series Auto Air Colors.
Semi-Opaque
Colors can be tinted with Transparent Colors for custom blends by either
directly mixing the colors or layering light coats of Transparent Colors
over the Semi-Opaque Colors.
Transparent
Colors work well when applied in light coats over 4300 or 4500 Series
Colors. Apply 1-2 light coats of Auto Air Base Coat Sealer Dark, 1-2 coats
4300 or 4500 Series Colors followed by 2-5 light coats of Auto Air
Transparent Colors. Applying Transparent Colors over these series creates
custom blends.
Recommended
for use with airbrush sizes 0.3mm or larger. A 0.2mm size airbrush may be
used when colors are thinned with Auto Air Reducer.
